FAQ: Important information for attendees

This web page contains important logistical information for people attending BriForum in Chicago next week.

How do I access private attendee-only content?

Your attendance to BriForum includes access to private content, including online access to all session videos and content, as well as the ability to blog. You can link your BrianMadden.com account to your BriForum registration via our enrollment page.

Help! I registered and have not received a paper ticket?

All BriForum registrations are electronic registrations only. As long as you received an email confirmation of your order, then you're all set! Just bring your ID with you and we'll see you on Monday!

Where is BriForum?

BriForum 2008 is at the Chicago Navy Pier... all the way at the end. Just walk down the pedestrian side and walk past the restaurants and boats and everything. More details are available at the venue page.

The Navy Pier is huge! Where EXACTLY is BriForum?

We posted a photo walking tour to the venue page that shows how to find the BriForum conference once you get to the Navy Pier.

How should I get to BriForum?

There is parking onsite, plus a free Navy Pier trolley service. You can probably walk from the two hotels we have the group rate at, or take the trolley. More details are available on the travel page.

What time should I show up on Monday?

Doors open at 7:30. We're going to have a REAL breakfast.. hot food, eggs, sausage, etc. The first keynote is at 9:00. The start and end times of each day are available on our schedule page.

Which sessions will be on which days?

The session schedule has been finalized, and the online conference guide is now available.

Do I need to reserve space in the sessions I want to attend?

No.

Can I bring a guest to the evening party?

Yes, but it costs $35.00. If you did not reserve a spot for a guest when you registered for BriForum, you can visit the registration desk during the day on Monday and they'll take care of it.

Will you have luggage storage on Wednesday?

Yes.

Do I need my laptop?

No, it's not a requirement. But most people bring their laptops. We'll have WiFi throughout the venue and as many power outlets and we can hook up.

Are there still hotels available?

Yes, there is still room at the Inn of Chicago, as of Monday June 9. See the hotel page for more information.

Where is the party on Monday night?

It's at Joe's Be-Bop Cafe, also on the Navy Pier.
