KEMP’s highly affordable LoadMaster products include Layers 4-7 load balancing, content switching and server persistence, SSL offload/acceleration, WTS load balancing and persistence, with Session Directory integration, and application front-end capabilities (caching, compression, intrusion prevention system), plus one full year of product support – delivering industry leading price/performance value.

What is Kemp Technologies showing at the BriForum DEMO Lab?

Initially Server Load Balancing (SLBs) was intended to insure that users accessing information and conducting transactions from a website would get the best possible experience from that website by distributing users across all the available servers. Over the years SLBs added functionality that continued to improve the user experience. Due to the high prices of these products, they were almost the exclusive domain of the enterprise network. Until today!

Over the past 10-15 years SLB has evolved. Today the Server Load Balancer has evolved into an “Application Delivery Controller” (ADC) or Application Front-End (AFE). The ADC not only benefits the user, it also has provided benefits to the datacenter, by offloading what was previously server functions, to the ADC. Now KEMP, at BriForum in Chicago is demonstrating how small-to-medium sized businesses (SMB)’s can afford robust ADC capabilities, and effectively compete on a level playing field with enterprise companies, for a lot less cost.

What KEMP will be demonstrating in our BriForum Lab:

  • Windows Terminal Services working with and without Session Directory
  • Server Load Balancing
  • Application delivery for small--medium sized businesses (SMB) and enterprise branch offices
  • The capabilities of virtual load balancing

Here are a few of the demos we will show at BriForum:

  • Virtual LoadMaster SLB with up to 20 virtual LoadMasters within a single “Virtual application balancing in high density”
  • Application delivery Optimization, application front-end functionality including SSL acceleration, data compression, data caching and Intrusion Protection Security (IPS)
  • Windows Terminal Services (WTS) 2003 and 2008 server load balancing using Session Directory. We will also show how we can load balance WTS without requiring Session Directory, while still providing RDP persistence
  • Server load balancing (SLB) ranging in performance from 100Mbps – 10Gigabit
  • Server load balancing (SLB) ranging in price from $2,490 - $36,000

KEMP delivers the same SLB functionality on every LoadMaster product regardless of price!
